High Score Protector for Flash Games

Requirements: Use with Flash games only. Use of this software is restricted to  one domain (such as "www.yourgamename.com", hereafter called "the domain"). The Buyer must have sole ownership interest of the games and the domain, and may not further redistribute the High Score Protector software. The license is renewed annually.

Your download will include:

1. An ActionScript 2 component with source that securely posts a high score to your specified URL at the domain (see 3 below). The component may be used by your game developers for integration into their Flash games using the domain's  high score service. This component will include an internal memory obfuscator (see 2). The ActionScript functionality is intended to minimize unnecessary posting of high scores (by using both software settable and server determined minimum scores) and protect against reposting or alteration of game scores within the limits of obfuscation, the Flash platform, and subject to the game developer's overall design.

2. An ActionScript 2 component that includes a tailored version of IT GlobalSecure’s Flash memory obfuscation technology, for use with the High-Score component only.

3. An administrative PHP page for use by the Buyer for the creation of unique game IDs for new games and the corresponding data and configuration information to be provided to game developers.

4. An operational PHP page to process incoming game high scores in a manner that minimizes the risk of posting fraudulent scores in conjunction with (1). The other objective of this software is to minimize bandwidth and computer usage.

This product is licensed on a non-exclusive basis to the Buyer. No portions of the code can be resold or re-licensed by the Buyer. IT GlobalSecure does retain full rights to use the software, source code, and components as it sees fit.  There is no guarantee that these components, once integrated with the Buyer’s gaming software, will prevent the modification of submitted high scores, and the Buyer assumes all responsibility for the successful operation of the integrated components.
